High Dynamic Range Images

I am now trying out High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography. Here are my first few images.

What is HDR photography? Here is a brief explanation from Christian Bloch’s website on the subject:

High Dynamic Range Imaging is a method to digitally capture and edit all light in a scene. It represents a quantum leap in imaging technology, as revolutionary as the leap from Black & White to Color imaging. If you are serious about photography, you will find that HDRI is the final step that places digital ahead of analog.

From the earliest I can remember, my efforts in art, photography and film have been inspired by painting, especially the work of the following artists whose work also contains high dynamic range colour and hyper-real yet fantastic photographic detail.
